China

Estun, Inovance, Efort, Siasun… (and KUKA, a German company owned by China's Midea)

Chinese manufacturers supplied 195,000 of the robots installed in China in 2025 (55% of that market), or about one third of worldwide installations on their own. source

Japan

Fanuc, Yaskawa, Kawasaki, Nachi, Epson, Denso

Historically the leading manufacturer: 45% of the world's supply of industrial robots (IFR figure for 2020, published in 2022). source

Europe

ABB (Switzerland/Sweden), KUKA (Germany), Stäubli (Switzerland/France), Comau (Italy), Universal Robots (Denmark)

Most robots installed in the United States are imported from Japan and Europe. source

South Korea

Hyundai Robotics, Doosan Robotics, Rainbow Robotics (Samsung)

The most automated country in the world: 1,220 robots per 10,000 manufacturing employees. source

United States
